blu-3: Committed to quality, focused on continuous improvement

The blu-3 commitment to quality and determination to deliver success for its clients is driven by its exceptional people who constantly strive to go the extra mile, innovate, and challenge convention to find better ways of working.

In practical terms, blu-3 provides a comprehensive quality management plan on each site it works on, which is aligned to the companyā€™s Quality Management System (QMS) that is certified to BS EN ISO 9001: 2015.

To ensure alignment to the QMS, an appointed specialist from the blu-3 HSEQ team provides quality management guidance to site teams. Where necessary, further advice many be sought from specialist external consultants. Any advice given is then ratified by the HSEQ Manager.

blu-3 knows that delivering quality on each project is ensured by managing quality as an integral part of its activities. As such, there is a clear focus on managing quality to ensure clientsā€™ requirements, both internal and external, are met at all times.

The approach to each activity within a project is in line with the company principals ā€˜plan, do, check, actā€™ and each activity is planned to ensure the specific requirements for the activity (skills, material, controls etc) are identified and employed. Activities on site are carried out in accordance with controls implemented during planning and each activity is checked by inspection, testing and monitoring of the works. Finally, the inspection, testing and monitoring is controlled by the site management team. The Project Inspection and Test Plans, along with formal records of inspections, checking and surveillance demonstrate that blu-3 is meeting requirements set out in the project information.
