Project Challenges & Solutions:
- Strict demolition lead times and the project was situated about Liverpool St station, potentially causing issues with noise and vibrations
- Waterproofing had to be installed, so to reduce odours from the bituminous material blu-3 installed an extractor fan
- The blu-3 team installed noise barriers to prevent any disturbance for the public and residents
Scope:
- Soft stripping and demolition before the installation of drainage and waterproofing
- Concrete walls, paving and cladding were installed across the site
- Street furniture and soft landscaping was installed at the end of the project to add the finishing touches
