Project Challenges & Solutions:
- The project had a very strict timescale
- The works needed to be complete in time for the large-scale resurfacing works. These works were programmed for the summer of 2019, leaving only one month to complete the project
Scope:
- Widening the existing 1km footway by 700mm, creating more room for cyclists and pedestrians
- Installation of tactile on all existing crossings
- Additional works including the installation of over 30 new signs, 200m3 of concrete and 3000m2 of tarmac
