BLU-3 AWARDED ROSPA PRESIDENT’S AWARD FOR OUTSTANDING HEALTH AND SAFETY PRACTICES

BLU-3 AWARDED ROSPA PRESIDENT’S AWARD FOR OUTSTANDING HEALTH AND SAFETY PRACTICES

Kent-based specialist infrastructure provider, blu-3, has been awarded the prestigious Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Presidents Award for securing its tenth successive gold medal for outstanding health and safety practices.

RoSPA is a British charity that aims to save lives and prevent life-changing injuries which occur as a result of accidents. It is the longest-running industry awards scheme in the UK.

HSEQ Director at blu-3, Shane Fay, said: “This is an amazing achievement for blu-3 and we are immensely proud to be recognised in this way. As a company, we know how important it is to lead on health and safety best practice and this award recognises all the hard work everyone puts in to ensuring our high standards are continually met.

The RoSPA Awards scheme, which receives entries from organisations around the world, recognises achievement in health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement.

“This is our tenth consecutive gold RoSPA medal, which has led to us to receiving the prestigious Presidents Award,” said Shane. “It perfectly illustrates to our clients and partners that we are extremely committed to ensuring the health and safety of everyone involved in our projects.”

blu-3 will be presented with its award during the ceremony at the ExCeL, London on Tuesday 8 September 2020, a later date for this year due to the ongoing situation with COVID-19.
