ALL ABOARD WITH BLU-3 FOR LONDON DESIGN FESTIVAL
Specialist infrastructure provider, blu-3, has gone the extra mile and hired a traditional red London bus to take part in this year’s London Design Festival, showcasing its leading projects in the capital to help promote the innovative design work being carried out across the UK.
As part of the festival, blu-3 gave tours around the capital to current and potential customers. Each site visit demonstrated the challenges and solutions involved with high-profile projects and showcased the best practices put in place by the company to achieve the highest quality work.
The route involved visiting project sites including The Shard and Stratford Waterfront, with the tour ending at Chelsea Barracks where participants had a chance to network and enjoy champagne and canapés.
blu-3 Preconstruction Director, Lee Lawrence, said: “The bus tour was a huge success, and gave everyone a chance to see first-hand some of the amazing design work that is currently being carried out in the UK. It also provided the perfect platform for us to showcase the amazing projects we are involved in and demonstrate the hard work that goes into carrying out the highest standard of work. Chelsea Barracks enabled us to create a great atmosphere for networking to round off a wonderful day.”
London Design Festival is an annual event, held to celebrate and promote London as the design capital of the world and as the gateway to the international creative community, and runs for a week from September 14-22.
