Snowdonia

Blu-3 are responsible for placing the existing overhead power lines underground in Snowdonia, a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). Working closely with our clients and in association with Scottish Power and The Welsh Assembly, these works will improve the aesthetics of the National Park and ensure it will continue to be regarded as one of the UK's premier tourist destinations.

Algate Giratory Diversions

Skanska

Blu-3 worked closely with Skanska for this major project. We carried out various enabling works including trial holes. Utility diversions for electric, water, fibre optic cabling and telecoms. Blu-3 carried out all street furniture realignment for the new road system as well as all concrete reinstatement works. This job was time critical and all works had to be completed on time to meet the scheduled traffic switch.

McMillian Chemotherapy Unit

Medway Maritime Hospital - Kilby & Gayford

Ddemolition of existing building, internal remodelling, installation of new 225/150/100 drainage system. All ground works including piling, groundbeams and foundations. Erection of reinforced concrete frame structure.

Housing Estate

On a design and build contract, Blu-3 built a collection of residential housing units to our clients specific direction. More than a simple construction, this project required the sourcing of unique materials from often abstract sources and highly specialised construction methods. These properties are an example of our commitment to superceed our client's expectations.

Victoria Mains Replacement (VMR)

Morrison/Thames Water

Finish Date: on-going

For over 3 years Blu-3 (UK) Ltd have been involved in the replacement of the existing Victoria Water Mains Pipes and installing. Our work here covers both excavation and reinstatement. In 2007 we installed in excess of 5Km of new pipe work in South East London and are currently covering rolling out the programme in Clapham Common on behalf of our clients.
